Training

Private consultation at your yard: £36 per hour
Clinic session for up to four people and horses: £150 per day

There is no charge for travelling time, mileage is charged at 36p per mile. If panels are
required (for some catching and loading problems) travel is 50p per mile.

"I am always generous with my time so that there is plenty of room for discussion
and no pressure on the horse. A typical first visit would include an assessment and training, thereafter sessions can be tailored to suit."

All appointments are subject to a non refundable deposit of £36.00 which needs to be paid within three working days of making the booking. This can be paid through Paypal using the button on the contact/link page, or by cheque to my home address of Home Cottage, Brook Lane, Woodgreen, Hampshire SP6 2AT.

Residential training at Sarah's yard: from £150 - £200 per week
includes "DIY" grass keep and maintenance feed.
Extras such as wormers, vets fees and farriery
are charged at cost only.

Panel Hire

Safety panels for use as a temporary pen, as an extension to a stable or to assist with loading. My light weight easily connectable round pen panels are ideal for use as a temporary pen or as an extension of a stable during “box rest”. This enables the horse to have plenty of daylight and fresh air and alleviates the boredom of standing in and reduces the risk of developing behavioural problems.* Purpose built, they have a roll-out facility. The pens can also be used to gently and quietly encourage a horse into a horsebox / trailer in an emergency or as part of their loading training.

Panel hire costs £30 for delivery and £30 for collection plus 50p per mile and then £2 per panel per week of hire. If you book an hour or more’s training session with me then delivery itself is free (similarly for collection). For loading, it is always a good idea to have a training session so that you can understand how the panels should be employed.
